Account Executive – Coatings

Coatings Canada is a division within Webcom, offering offline coating processes for printed press sheets to a diverse market including the packaging industry, commercial print market, book manufacturers, financial printers, point of purchase display manufacturers, direct mail printers, label printers and digital printers. This role is for you if you are driven to succeed, passionate about developing solutions for a wide variety of customers with unique business challenges, and confident in your technical knowledge.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Graphic Communication Management.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally in packaging market.
  • Experience managing a sales territory of $1M in annual sales.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Excel. CRM Dynamics exposure would be an asset.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Vehicle and valid driver’s license.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops a thorough understanding of the business models and strategies of the assigned accounts and target Coatings markets within their territory (to become familiar with the industry key players, trends, products, challenges, and competition). Develops packaging market profiles for various product lines in geographic markets.
  • Works with customers’ decision makers to understand their business challenges and proposes Coatings’ products/solutions that address clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Develops insightful account plans capitalizing on Coatings’ core competencies and capabilities that address the customers’ goals and business challenges. Provides project leadership, execution and follow up. Grows Coatings’ business within assigned territory.
  • Understands how Coatings’ solutions/products may benefit customers and work with extended Webcom team to develop proposals based on the customers’ business requirements. Identifies new prospects and competitor shortfalls.
  • Builds long standing relationships with the customers and new prospects. Develops new Coatings opportunities within new and existing accounts and drive them to the successful conclusion.
  • Documents, manages and maintains all sales contacts and related account information in CRM.
