Every element of our process is a partnership. Choosing Webcom for your book printing and book binding needs means having full consultative support and access to a dedicated team of Account Executives, Customer Care Specialists, and Project Managers for every stage and every touchpoint of your project. Here’s a quick overview of your team and what your experience with us will look like.

  • Discovery & Strategy

    Account Executive (AE)

    Your AE is here to keep you informed about all our services and options, beginning with acquiring a deep understanding of your product requirements to helping you define the right solution. Their innovative approach to planning helps you optimize your inventory management and improve your bottom line.

  • Planning

    Customer Care Specialist (CCS)

    The CCS supports your AE and takes care of all administrative tasks related to your project such as quote submissions, verification of scheduling, and orders and coordination of FSC logo.

  • Production

    Project Manager (PM)

    Your primary point of contact during the production cycle, the PM ensures your project is on time and on budget. Your PM sends approvals, tracks the status of the project, makes any last minute changes, schedules updates and oversees shipping.

  • Distribution

    Once books are printed and packed, Shipping Department will choose the best delivery service depending on the order’s size, weight and delivery speed requirements.

Where is Webcom located?

Located in Toronto, Ontario, Webcom is in close proximity to 80% of the Canadian population. Over 125 million Americans can be reached with ground shipments from Webcom in a single day.

Do you offer design services?

We offer limited design services. If your title requires minor design changes or colour correction, our internal team of designers can help. In some cases extra charges may apply. Please consult your Account Executive to discuss your requirements.

What is your standard delivery time?

We offer a variety of production schedules, from few days to few weeks, depending on your project requirements. Please let your Account Executive know what works for you, and we will take care of the rest.

What types of proofs do you offer?

We offer soft and hard-copy proofs. Soft proofs are PDF files for on-screen proofing. Hard copy digital proofs are available in the following formats:

  • Laser Proofs – 300 dpi (offset text)
  • Epson Proofs – 720 dpi (offset covers)
  • Indigo Proofs – 800 dpi (digital covers)
Do you carry recycled paper?

Yes, our eco-friendly Legacy papers offer high environmental integrity, FSC certification and include recycled, post-consumer waste (PCW).

What markets do you serve?

We work with Canadian, American and European publishers of all sizes, from large multinational publishers to independent publishers, who publish in a variety of genres and formats.

How do I check the status of my title?

Your Project Manager is here to ensure that your project is on-time. We make sure to provide a status report at every stage of your project.

Can you ship my order directly to my customers?

Yes, we offer fulfillment solutions, so your customers never miss a sale due to out-of-stock inventory.  If you do not have a warehouse or distributor, Webcom can provide storage and fulfilment solutions.
