CREATING POSTSCRIPT FILES - Applications
If you are going to be supplying PostScript files to Webcom, please make sure that you
have clearly indicated this on the Prepress Pouch Pak. This will ensure that your files are
received and handled in a timely and efficient manner.
CREATING POSTSCRIPT FILES FROM COREL VENTURA 7/8
PostScript from Corel Ventura 7/8 is unusable in the Webcom all-digital workflow unless
the following changes are made to the cprelprn.ini file.
Step 1
Go into C:\Corel\Ventura7\CONFIG and double click on the file called corelprn.ini. If
you cannot find it in this location, you may need to do a search to locate it.
Step 2
The file will open up in WordPad (on Windows 95). You will see the file look like this:

Change the PSConformToDSC=0 setting to 1 instead of 0.
Step 3
Save the changes and Exit.
Step 4
Make your final PostScript File.
