CREATING POSTSCRIPT FILES - Print Driver Setup
POSTSCRIPT DRIVER SETTINGS FOR WINDOWS NT
You will need the Windows NT system CD to install the PostScript driver.
- From the Printer Control Panel, click Add Printer.
- Select My Computer and click Next.
- From Available Ports, Select File. Click Next
- From the list of Manufacturers select Agfa-Proset 9800SF v2013.108. Click Next.
- Select whether or not you want this printer to be the default printer for all your documents. Click Next.
- Select Not Shared. Click Next.
- Select No for test page. Click Finish.
Configuring the Driver
- Select the Agfa Driver in the Printer Control Panel.
- From the File Menu, select Document Defaults.
- In the Page setup tab, select Letter for documents 7.5X9 and smaller and Tabloid for documents larger than 7.5X9 that contain bleeds. (If your documents do not contain bleeds, then Letter is fine for documents up to 8.5X11.)
- Select Portrait under Orientation and Color under Color Appearance.
- Select the Advanced Tab. Select Graphic and set Resolution to 1200DPI. Select TrueType Font and set to “Download as Soft Fonts”.
- In the PostScript Options, set PostScript Output to Optimize for Portability.
- Set TrueType Font Download Options to Outline.
