CREATING POSTSCRIPT FILES - Print Driver Setup
While Webcom is happy to accept your application files in their native format, we prefer
that you send us your text files as PostScript. Since PostScript is a control language that
will work independently of the software used to create it, this can save you both time and
money. This is especially true for Webcom customers who operate in a Windows environment, as there is a greater variety of software programs and versions of the same
software currently being used for publishing.
Installing and configuring your Print Driver is the first step to creating PostScript files for use with Webcom’s all-digital prepress workflow. Follow the steps carefully to ensure that
the PostScript files you create will be compatible with Webcom’s workflow.
