Webcom gives back to the community by printing 1,000,000 bookmarks for this year’s Canada Book Day, April 23, 2001

Canada Book Day is organized by The Writers’ Trust of Canada, a charitable organization that supports and promotes Canadian writers and literature. Canada Book Day events taking place across Canada include author signings and readings, award announcements and contests. The bookmarks Webcom printed entitle the bearer to $2.00 off a book purchase worth $10.00 or more at participating bookstores.

Webcom is Proud to Support National Poetry Month

In recognition of the importance of Canadian publishing, Webcom is proud to support National Poetry Month, held in April, 2001. Webcom is contributing to the promotional campaign by printing 700 cards each of 100 poems to be distributed by Canadian poets and publishers to the public during the month of April. Thousands of bookstores, libraries, schools, and cultural institutions participate each year in National Poetry Month, through readings festivals, book displays, workshops, and other activities.
