Webcom was among the first printers in North America to offer customers the efficiency of web offset printing for book production; to automate prepress by means of computer-controlled cameras; to offer Otabind as a lay flat alternative to perfect binding.

Continuing in the aim to bring our customers new innovations, Webcom launched Digital Print Technologies (DPT), with full in-house manufacturing capabilities. Through cost-effective short runs, customized books and print-on-demand Digital Print Technologies allows publishers of all kinds to enhance their revenue opportunities and decrease inventory costs. Webcom now provides our customers a complete gateway to digital forms of publishing by combining Digital Print Technologies, complete digital prepress, Computer-to-Plate systems, and electronic publishing solutions. Through these integrated production processes, advanced technologies, and specialized service teams, we are able to build books better, respond faster, and stay in control of every project.

Webcom has worked with publishers of all kinds for more than twenty years. Founded in 1975, we are an independently-owned company incorporated in Canada and the U.S.

Webcom specializes in the production of softcover books. Our 300+ employees produce over 40 million books annually.
